Israel M. White aka “Izzy The Stylist" is a creative artist, who entered the hair industry in 2015. Israel obtained his training at Academy Di Capelli in East Hartford. He currently specializes in luxurious blowouts, silk pressing, and aspiring cut and colorist.

Izzy is always learning and educating himself on new techniques. He is currently certified L’Oreal, Goldwell, and Wella color lines. He is a firm believer in healthy hair first. He is a true perfectionist to his craft and will not let you leave his chair until you are fully satisfied.

Yahaira Harris, a native of Hartford, CT, received her cosmetology license at the International Institute of cosmetology in Plainville, CT.

With just a year under her belt, Yahira is passionate, energetic, focus, and dedicated! She’s very open to learning new techniques and working with all hair types and textures, there’s no bias with Yahaira!

In her own words, “I want every woman, man, and child to leave my chair feeling refreshed and vibrant. If you look good you feel good!” Because of Yahira’s love for the beauty industry, she aspires to bring out her client's best qualities through hard work and dedication!

My name is Shania (SHUH-nye-uh), a skilled cosmetologist with a passion for Science. I graduated from Passaic County Technical Institute's School of Cosmetology in Wayne, NJ in 2017. From there I moved to West Haven, CT to pursue my bachelors degree at the University of New Haven where I graduated from in 2021. I’ve always had a deep love for the hair and makeup industry since I was a child which helped me to continue to hone my skills in the modeling industry, slaying at photo shoots and making waves at events like the Bronx Fashion Week.

My expertise lies in locs and protective styles such as box braids, soft locs, and

twists but I'm always eager to learn more and grow in my craft. Along with that i'm also the brains behind Scientific Beauty. It is my very own brand that’s all about the science of self-care with natural handmade hair and body products. I prioritize transparency in making sure people know the science behind the products they're using, because knowledge is power!

I'm so excited to be bringing my talents and creativity to E’Selim Salon where I'll

be doing what I love. I'm committed to providing exceptional hair services to my

clients and using high-quality, science-backed products and methods that work

best for all of our beautiful and diverse hair textures!
